Analgesic Healthcare is honored to contribute to relief efforts in the wake of the devastating floods that struck Texas Hill Country over the Fourth of July weekend, by donating to the American Red Cross.
Between July 4–7, extraordinarily heavy rains totaling as much as 20 inches in places triggered catastrophic flash flooding across Central Texas, particularly in Kerr County along the Guadalupe River. The river surged more than 26 feet in under an hour at Hunt, and storm warnings were issued across multiple counties. Tragically, more than 135 lives have been lost (including 107 in Kerr County), dozens of campers perished at Camp Mystic, and hundreds of homes, businesses, and summer camps were devastated.
“We’ve watched the heartbreaking images of rivers turning into torrents and communities losing nearly everything in the blink of an eye,” said Mark Edgerton, COO of Analgesic Healthcare. “We felt compelled to step forward and help. Our hope is that this support reminds families in the Hill Country that they’re not forgotten and that healing is made possible when people, no matter where they live, come together.”
The American Red Cross is delivering vital aid: shelter, hot meals, medical services, and supplies. Through this partnership, Analgesic Healthcare is helping ensure swift delivery of relief where it’s needed most.
Beyond financial support, the company strongly encourages its team members and the wider community to volunteer or donate locally to echo our values in action, not just words.
We stand with all those affected: the grieving families, heroic first responders, and volunteers working around the clock to restore safety and hope.
